Lewis’ achievements have been recognised by the naming of the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, UWI, St Augustine as well as The Arthur Lewis Building in 2007 at the University of Manchester, England, where he once lectured.
