154 DARREM CHARLES (1969- ) B ased in Miami but born in Arouca, Darrem Charles rose to become one of the world’s leading bodybuilders placing in the top three in world class competitions between 1989 and 2009. As a younger man he used to box but it was in the field of promoting boxing fights that he made his mark.
