40 DOON PANDIT (1900-1958) H ewas aHindu pundit and community leaderwho becamewell known for his guru-like qualities and in performing healing miracles. A book, Doon Pandit, His Life and Times , documents his contributions. In 1949 he was awarded an MBE by the King of England. He also received other awards such as in 2004 when the Arima Borough Corporation recognised his work for community development and culture. CLIVE PANTIN (1933-2017) H e was the principal of Fatima College for many years and became the Minister of Education in 1986 until 1991, when he founded Feel, the Foundation for the Enhancement and Enrichment of Life.
